Second Annual Earth Day Event - Green Bay

On 19 & 20 April Green Bay hosted the Second Annual Earth Day Recycling Event to help the environment and also benefit a local charity The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Green Bay. There were T-shirts, trinkets, food & Drink, educational events, children's events, yard tours for the event. It was well received by the public and local business. The entire Green Bay Alter Team came together with some special recognition needed for employees donating time and money to make it a success. The Advertising, Giveaway & Educational Coordinators was a team comprised of Julie Naug, Laura Schenk, Tracie Szymanski; Operational Coordinators Kathy Garsow & Kevin Furcho; Event Coordinator Kent Christen with a special mention to Jacob Crowe for helping wherever possible.

On Tuesday, 6/18 Alter presented The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Green Bay with $24,499.11 which was raised through our Earth Day Recycling Event. The following breakdown

  • Our two Platinum Corporate Sponsors who were also given plaques
  • Voss Electric Scrap Metal Donation $9976.00
  • Green Bay Packaging Scrap Metal Donation $13,400.54
