Annual Cans for K9 Cops and Racine Ribbon Cutting

In conjunction with its annual Cans for K9 Cops luncheon, Alter Metal Recycling's Racine location held a ribbon cutting for its new Non-Ferrous Buying Center. Racine Area Manufacturers and Commerce (RAMAC) representative Carmella Venturini, along with representatives from the City of Racine, including Cory Mason, Mayor of the City of Racine and Mollie Jones, Alderwoman of the City of Racine 2nd District, was in attendance to recognize the business for its community involvement and continual investment in the City of Racine.

Doubling its efforts from last year, a $5,000 check was presented to the Cans For K9 Cops. Proceeds from the can drive fundraiser, including matching funds from Alter, were equally distributed to 5 local police departments, including Racine County Sheriffs Office, Racine Police Department, Village Of Mount Pleasant Police Department, Village of Caledonia Police Department and Village of Sturtevant Police Department.
